Very nice authentic restaurant. We came at 21:00 and got something to eat.The waiter was very friendly and spoke a bit of german. Highly recommend.

Great food t a great price in Belgrade. I recommend it. It's a locals place and the food is tasty.

Went in with a group of friends, It was delicious, especially with those prices, wd spent about 2000 rsd each (20) while ordering soup and salads, so quite cheap, although mileage may vary. The salad consisted of onion, tomato and cucumber, with a lot of delicious cheese, would recommend to get 1 per 2 people. The soup was great to dib bread in (bread was very fluffy), so worth the price. I got grilled neck, some people got a mix of grilled meat to share, and a kebab. The place was very clean and had a very nice atmosphere, the interior was traditional and well designed. The service was also great, there was one waiter, very nice, spoke quite good english, understood us (more or less), but I would recommend to learn some basic phrases. He was nice and talked a lot, genuinely had a fun conversation. The only possible complaint is that we had to wait a bit (5 minutes) to get our check, I highly recommend.(No pictures for privacy reasons, sorry)

Terrific find! We found this place by luck and ate here numerous times over 4 weeks. The food is authentic, the ambience is relaxed, the wait staff very friendly and the prices are extremely reasonable. Highly recommended!!!

Belgrade is now full of fancy, sparkling new restaurants with global cuisine. They are great.But, if you want a taste of old-school Serbian kafana atmosphere, this is a fantastic option - one of few remaining.PRO TIP: ask your waiter for the special of the day. Unless it's something you don't eat on religious grounds, get that. No need to thank me for the recommendation, just tip the staff as you think appropriate.

Had the Serbian schnitzel (Karađorđeva šnicla), it was brilliant. When I made my first cut it was pouring out melted fat so if you are on a diet then it might not be the meal for you...I liked the proportions, one medium size potato cut into pieces, one half pig... :)

I highly recommend visiting this authentic culinary destination for an unforgettable experience.
